First of all I would like to say that Yahoo Messenger with Video and Voice chat available for iPhone. It's really amazing and works great! You can make video call from your iPhone to PC.
Now about some annoying things in Yahoo Messenger (version for PC): ads.... Online you can meet a lot of ad removers software, but really you don't need it. All what you should do it's to edit your hosts file.
I will tell you how to do it. Be sure that your hidden files, folders are visible. Then go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (for Windows 7 users: you should type it in your Windows Explorer). Open hosts file with Notepad. Add this line 127.0.0.1 insider.msg.yahoo.com Then Save it(overwrite existing file!) (in Save As choose All files - DON'T SAVE IT AS .txt ). Windows 7 users can get error like Access denied. To avoid it, you have to give full permission (like Edit, Write hosts file ) to your account.
