Well... In the morning I was shooting a small video for Katya of my morning coffee. I kept iPhone in landscape mode, but when I uploaded it on YouTube (original video), it played as it was shot in portrait mode with such terrible black strips on both sides. I got this problem not first time. I was wondering why it happens. The stupidest thing I can't change the orientation to original one, just if I use converter softwares.
Quick Time Player and Windows Media Classic Player play those videos just in wrong orientation, but other players like VLC, Windows Media Player play them as I was shooting: landscape mode.
I was looking for a solution of this problem but almost nothing. On Apple Discussion page some guy told me that it could be accidentally shot in wrong orientation. So I am thinking he is right, when I started shooting, iPhone didn't have enough time to come to landscape orientation and the video was recording in portrait orientation. I need to play with this more, to be sure that my problem in it.

How to rotate your video QUICKLY

Also.... sorry, Huzz.... but I bought
Camcorder Pro JUST for 0.99$. It's really great application: I like grid, mode in different resolution, spy cam, gravity helper. But I also need to see a current orientation of iPhone to be sure in which orientation it's recording. A bug was found in the app: again wrong orientation of Face Cam, I couldn't record in right orientation it always played upside down. I read that in 2.1 version they fixed some bug: " Error recording when device is face up/down" but not sure if it's that what I have right now.... anyway Face Cam's working not good. Anyway I wrote to developer, we'll see if they fix it.
p.s. hehe I've found interesting function: how to make screenshot on iPhone. Really it was new for me.
